We’re excited to share that as part of the Indie Houses event this week, Fellow Traveller has been announced as the publisher of Beacon Pines! They’re an experienced indie publisher with a special focus on narrative games, and so a perfect partner for bringing Beacon Pines to players.
Alongside this announcement, the release window of the game has also been revealed. Beacon Pines will be coming to PC and Nintendo Switch in the first half of 2022!
About Beacon Pines:
Beacon Pines is a cute and creepy storybook adventure game that’s like “Winnie-the-Pooh” meets “Stranger Things”. In it you play as both the book’s reader and its main character, a young boy probing mysterious events in his hometown. Along the way you’ll find charms inscribed with new words that let you rewrite past events, leading to entire new timelines to explore.
- No combat – gameplay focuses on exploration, deep character-driven dialogue, and light puzzle-solving
- Explore an illustrated town full of charming characters – and unnerving secrets
- Change past events by turning back the storybook, uncovering new branches
- Discover new words and use them to write (and rewrite) the game’s story
- Coming to PC and Nintendo Switch in 2022!! (more platforms possible)
- Made by Hiding Spot Games, a three-person dev team
